I was only postulating a theory...... however it seems the majority are silver and I am unsure, but these may be PP copies, because I know someone who is in and he says they don't actually get the badges that often..... only the guys on parade got them, they only draw uniform for the occasional parade, as most of the time they are in civies or DPM, in which insignia might be a little conspicuous.
