Interesting Anodised Royal Welch Fusiliers Variant Perhaps?
Here's a photo of the backs of three RWF anodised badges. There's the well documented early one on the left which has a slider and no hackle holder (which I kindly obtained from Forum Member Bess) - and the ubiquitous late one on the right, which is now on tabs and with a hackle holder.
But what about the middle one which has tabs but no hackle holder? Possibly a bridge or interim badge between the early and late variants - or something else entirely? Is it a known variant to anyone?
