Red Cross on blue is Rhine Army Troops. The burning plane is 5th AA Division (plane should be facing down). Edwards and Langley says the glider badge was worn by all ranks of the 1 Bn Border Regt and 2nd Bn S. Staffs from 1950, and now by their successors. All look to be original.
