Good Evening Gentleman and if ladies are present Ladies

Thankyou for allowing me to be part if this forum as it came recommended by several collectors I know.

I am fairly new to the collecting of badges and insignia but already realising the subject is far more complex than thought with a minefield of restrikes, fakes and copies.

Abit about myself

I served 11years in the British Army in the Royal Engineers as a plant operator, commando, pti.

I collect predominantly martini henry rifles, carbines and accessories but also collect items belonging to the 66th of foot post 1870 and also the berkshire regiment up until the Boer war. Always looking to expand my collecting and knowledge which I will hopefully be able to do with help fro. Members of this forum.
