Hello, I found this badge metal detecting in the UK a couple of days ago.it was quite deep and still has it's leather backing still attached. I haven't been able to get a positive ID for it. One person I was speaking to mentioned it could be a saddlers badge, however researching that hasn't provided any information either.

The initials PAD are some I've not seen before and looking into those I can only find the supporting acronym Polish Armoured Defence or Public Affairs Detachment.

Any help greatly appreciated and huge kudos on a positive ID.
