The 1st Battalion served with the 71st Brigade, 26th Indian Infantry Div., whose divisional patch was a blue triangle with a tiger stepping through it. The colours for the divisional badge are black, blue and tan [the tiger], so perhaps it was used by them.

Hello Peter, thank you for your reply. On second thoughts, you are right: the triangle is not white, is tan! Alas the tab is rather green/black or green/dark blue, but I can not see any green in the 26th indian Div. flash.
