Royal Garhwal Rifles Btn Slip On Epaulette
A recent purchase: an epaulette slip on badged to a Lieutenant (former Captain?) of the Royal Garhwal Rifles. The Regiment title tab has been moved from the base of the epaulette to the mid, just in between the two cloth pips, to make space for a formation sign, a dark green/black tab with a white triangle superimposed. Now I guess this is some sort of Battalion insignia? Is there any photographic evidence of such a Royal Garhwal Rifles formation sign? Thank you for you knowledge, gents!
