OK , I didn't read the description properly but still find the whole thing a bit odd.
He buys the medal for
£338.80 on 30th March 2022 without checking if it was genuine.
He gets the medal but still doesn't check if it is genuine.
He sell it on eBay for
£360.00 and the buyer then gets it checked out.
It must have then been returned to him , and payment refunded , and he lists it again with a starting price of
£48.00 
So , within 3 month he bought an expensive badge , needed extra cash so sold it , had it returned and is willing to basically write off £290.00 !
