12th Battalion East Surrey Regiment (Bermondsey Battalion) Sweetheart Badge
Picked this little beauty up today. It's a sweetheart or mufti badge to the 12th Battalion of the East Surrey Regiment (The Bermondsey Battalion) who wore this style of badge in matched pairs as collar badges during WW1. This is NOT a converted collar badge but a purpose made sweetheart or mufti badge. The photographs do not do it justice, the pin and catch are in perfect working order and the gilding on the badge is faultless.
