from my experience it is the "TipTaft" mark that elevates the price. As a Makers Mark it is not that common and ANY badge bearing such mark seems to attract attention!
I have thousands of badges but ONLY TWO marked "TipTaft".. One of these and a 7th Dragoon Guards.
