HI Lazio,
Thank you for your response, I would agree William IV 1830 - 1837 would fit with the design coming in with the regiment cypher in initials below a Crown.

I am having it looked at by a friend at the NAM to see if they can locate a Pattern and date of it introduction, so stand by

On the make W. Jones of the same address was a button maker to the King around that time and later became W & E Jones, to that end as this button only has Jones I am wondering if that pre W and W&E or post that? If anyone can help.
