Leigh makes a very valid point. I think it's always a shame when a family "archive" of medals, badges, etc. are split up although it happens all the time.

Incidentally, the WW1 Victory medal has the wrong ribbon, the correct one is the "rainbow" pattern on the far right The value of this medal depends very much on who it is named to - rank, unit, etc. Also, if they were a casualty. (The other 2 medal ribbons are for the British War Medal, which appears to be missing although the recipient of the Victory Medal would also have been entitled to the British War Medal and would almost certainly have received them together).
