A lot of discussion has been generated in previous threads about the Beach Groups at the Normandy invasion.

Does anyone have information about the Beach Groups at Sicily? Did they wear the same Fouled Anchor patch as was worn at Normandy?

A friend of mine's Grandfather served with the Royal Engineers and landed with the Hasting and Prince Edward Regiment (Canadians) at Sicily. He said that he was with the 3rd Beach Group. I would like to determine what insignia he would of worn.
