Hi Hoot - to qualify for a WW2 CWG headstone - you had to have died between the 3 Sept 1939 > 31 Dec 1947. I'm not sure when the MSO were formed (immediately after the end of WW2?) - but had anyone died within that time frame then I think they would almost certainly have qualified under "Category 3 - Personnel who died in certain civilian organisations such as Merchant Navy, Home Guard, War Correspondents, BOAC " - the list is by no means exhaustive.
