Ive been looking for one of these badges for ages. I saw one with a dealer like the one above with two lugs to the reverse. I didnt buy it, next time I saw the dealer it was gone. Then I had the great fortune to see another
, this time with the a matched pair of shoulder titles. I bought them on Sunday!
What is unsual about the cap badge I bought is that the reverse has a pin fastening which it looks like it was manufactured with. I know that it was manufactured with a pin since the reverse retains all its gilding. I am wondering is this is a variation which is not documented here? It would certainly be more sensible fixing due to the head gear worn by this unit.
