Default Canadian NS XXV button

Hi,
All my (2) other C.E.F. buttons are regular 2-piece, i.e. front shell, back plate & shank designs.
This one is 1-piece.

Here are some 1934 Firmin prices for buttons:
- Infantry of the Line and Territorial, buttons, gilt, large doz. 3/6; small doz. 2/6
- Buttons regimental, bright gilt/plated/bronzed coat doz. 3/6 for officers, 1/- for rank & file.
- mess waiters buttons prices taken from "Buttons, Livery Crest: gilt/silver plated/oxydised or bronzed 6/-

My two other buttons would have been 3/6 and 1/- per dozen, the XXV would have cost 6/- per dozen.

I am happy to put it with the CEF buttons. After all it was purchased from southern Belgium.
thanks,
btns
