Here are a few more badges from Egypt from their Signals. The dates have been verified by the Egyptian Army for me. Also a few Saudi Signal badges to show the closeness of the Arab military from a badge perspective.
Egypt with crown until 1952
Crescent and 3 stars 1952 to 1958
1958 to 1961 UAR period. Have an illustration of same badge but the UAR eagle. Doubt if this was ever made.
1961 till? is the second line.
EW is the lower badge. Not sure if worn as caps or collars. Presume collars

It's sand cast brass with a rather flimsy slider. 35mm high. For a picture of Nasser wearing this badge see Glubb's Legion by Godfrey Lias.
Also an infantry officers collar badge. Nice struck blacked SD type brass, two lugs N&S. 35mm high Scroll reads al muscha ie The Infantry.
