H is not a GS cap badge. It is the wrong design and does the scroll not say City of London not Dieu et Droit?
As an aside while the GSC was a Corps in 1914 the design was worn with a QVC in 1900 and later 1901 by the Royal Reserve Regiment and later Royal Garrison Regt.
