Interesting as that is not a common fake. The fake marks with the dot are all 15mm long. If yours is 11mm then it stands a good chance of being OK even with the full stop. This smaller mark is rare and generally only found on WW2 badges but occasionally appears on commercially sold ones thought to be earlier. I will see if any of mine have a full stop in them.
