Then why is this smock often referred to as an “SAS Smock”, including on Silvermans site if you click on the link above .... Who was this smock initially intended for during the war? I have no clue to the answers to these questions, which is why I’m asking. Or is it simply using the letters SAS when selling something, people go cocoa bananas and willing to empty their wallet?
