Thanks Hoot. I had not noticed the type of cap in use in that picture. My grandfather was 2LG in 1918 and the family picture I have of him looks to show a one part ST-could be possibly that the light only caught on one part of it. I have never seen a joined 1LG or 2LG so I take it they were worn in two parts. I would be happy to see any pictures showing 1LG or 2LG STs. Regards, Paul.
