Hi john,
....very nice! The NCO's sleeve badge was produced in 5 variants, but the badge is exactly the same with the dark green cloth/wool.

The original one is brass, the 2nd version is white metal, the 3rd version is chromed, and the officers version is bronzed (brass underneath). The last version which is the rarest one of all is the silver coloured plastic version which was sewn onto the upper sleeves of the jacket - it had a small hole each side for sewing on with either silver thread of fishing line!

I have quite an extensive collection myself, but nothing to the North of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry apart from white metal and brass shoulder titles on the chainmail, and a couple of capbadges. Buttons do exist, as do silver versions of the officers capbadge!
