Hi,i have seen a Hurstpierpoint school in various collections and as far as im aware its still in use today,also the Tayforth uni in silver exists.
The single colour badges that appear could be from bad manufacturing,i had in my collection an all silver Intelligence corp and an all silver RSDG.I think that they use a paint to prevent the coloured anodising adearring to the wrong part of the badge.Thats why on the one piece badge the front is 2 colour and the back is 1 colour only.
Ive also thought of an addition to the list,but im not sure of the battalion number,the staffs battalion whose badge is just the Stafford knot.The only ones ive seen have been a very badly chromed version.
Id love to know where the information came from that Mercers school ccf wore an anodised badge.I made enquiries about the school and ccf.It closed in 1953.
Im going to talk to a few fellow anodised collectors and see what they can come up with about badges on the list or not on the list.
Also noticed that Mill Hill school appears on the list twice.
