Default Faces of War...

A search on the Faces of War image gallery had 17 hits, with several interesting photos of Canadian war correspondents. The only cap badges evident in the images were the maple leaf pattern and an officer's general list pattern. There were no bullion wire "C" cap badges. A couple of interesting photos from the data base.

Canadian war correspondents Gillis Purcell (left) of Canadian Press and Ralph Allen of The Globe and Mail attending an investiture ceremony, Antwerp, Belgium, 18 October 1944. Note the 2nd Corps patches and the Canadian War Correspondent titles.

War correspondent Douglas Amaron of the Canadian Press interviewing two British members of a Bofors anti-aircraft gun crew, Grave, Netherlands, 11 February 1945. Note the cap badge on Mr. Amaron.
