True, the RAC wore black but only during WW2. Midnight Blue is now worn by Cavalry Regiments. Black by RTR, as well as Royal Westminster Dragoons Squadron of Royal Yeomanry.

Really! Then why is it listed as 'Dark Blue' in CCN Section CF, JSP 336 & JSP 768? True it is almost Black and hard to tell until compared next to a Black Beret, In some photo's it comes out Purple!
