It really is a fascinating book and there are some tremendously powerful images in it that truly are food for thought. I have noticed though that there are a few errors in there that need correcting. The men on pages 297, 298, 299 and 302 that the author describes as members of the Royal Engineers are in fact all members of the British West Indies Regiment. The group of officers in plate 300 on page 261, described as "Unidentified", are Leeds Rifles. Plate 90 on page 79 shows an ASC man and not RE. Plate 414 on page 339, the man seated front right is ASC, not RA. There may be others as well but I don't want to knock the book too much as it really is a brilliant piece of work. Sorry if I appear pedantic but we badgers are like that.
