Believe this is what is generally known as a Sweetheart Comforter type tapestry or embroidery, made by a wife or loved one and sometimes framed and hung on the wall as a reminder of their relative serving in a particular Regiment. Have one of a similar size to The KRRC made by the Wife's Grandmother.
