I hear where you are coming from. As posted earlier in thread an Austrailian Legacy Poppy very kindly provided by Donnyb was laid along with a British wooden rememberance cross.
As it happens a very good friend who lives in Austrailia came back to the UK for an all too brief visit at Christmas, he presented me with another Legacy Poppy.
He told me the Austrailians are fiercely proud of there war casualties as indeed are we Brits.
This I will place at the grave on ANZACS day 25/4/11.
