Royal Marine Commando c1944
Hi, I am new to the forum and I am interested in the photo of the Royal Marine posted. I want to collect a set of RM D-Day badges, but I am a little confused by the combinations. I have been advised that the Royal Marines wore the "tombstone" combined ops badge along with their unit title. Yet this picture shows the marine wearing the "round" version. Could one of you more experienced contributors advise please?
