I used to have an odd 9th/12th badge in anodised. Same size as the cap badge,lugs n-s but the lugs were flat strips shaped to form a circle,but split. I think it was a pouch badge.
Bess your comment about the waist belt. I dont think they wore one. No1 dress ,the waist girdle of yellow and red.
No2 dress just the crossbelt
