Here is a further style of MGC repo sold by a well known peddler on eBay, albeit in fairness they do clearly state in their description ‘You must purchase this badge knowing it is not an original’
From the reverse, just like all this sellers badges, it’s discernible the badge has been produced from a cast. Note the thick edges and uneven surface.
Whilst this is a fairly obvious repro with the RND attachment, without it and the addition of a less conspicuous slider I imagine it could easily catch a lot of collectors out.
