Hi all who've contributed to this post,
I was wondering if, at some point, there was an alternative way of placing a bedplate or that there was a variation in style.
As Leigh has been kind enough to point out, Shipp was a pre-war regular so might plates from this period follow a different pattern?
It would also be nice if someone could contribute a photo, medals or plaque for Shipp as it seems rather sad that all that is left is a piece of brass....
