I've only ever seen the standard style of service chevron with only minor variations due to the number of different manufacturers.

If they are WWI then they don't comply with the standard design, however if correct show a red chevron signifying 1914 service (4 Aug-31 Dec 14) and 3 blue chevrons signifying qualifying overseas service to sometime in 1917 (1 Jan-31 Dec 17).

The strange thing is that the service chevron wasn't authorised for use until 1918, so these would have been made for retrospective service, unusual but not impossible.
