To add to this thread.
I have a heavy silver plate badge maker marked 'McDoughall London' that I believe is either an Offrs or a Pipers badge.
In addition, I have a badge that has been attributed to 'Moore Taggert, Edinburgh' which unfortunately is not maker marked.
I also have a cut down version of the badge with very long (3/4") lugs which is believed to be a sporran badge.
Finally, I have a shoulder title (48/H of C) where the 'of' is small, unlike the usual large 'OF' shown in the titles in this thread. The lug style can be attributed to Tiptaft.
I will look to post a few pictures of these badges soon.
