Hello:
Thought this interim cap badge might add to this really informative thread. This is a Roden Bros 1915 brass cap with a sterling silver overlay and the interesting addition of white enamel over the Canada. I believe the "Canada" was painted into the white enamel. There are sterling marks to the rear that include a maple leaf maker's mark and the number 925. I think that is a reference to the 925/1000 silver content of the overlay. I do not know what maker used the maple leaf mark. It is a lovely badge.
