Here's an interesting badge.
1/15th Royal New South Wales Lancers 100 Year Anniversary Badge - same size as the 1953 to 60 period badge and made with lugs and numbered on the back. Only 500 were made in 1985 with the regiment's 100th anniversary.
It was a private purchase badge that was officially allowed to be worn.
Back of the badge shows the dates 1885 and 1985 with the limited edition number in between. This is smaller than the current issue badge. It's one of the more harder to find post 1960 Australian badges. This one is number 337. Nos 1 and 15 were given to the regiment though I believe some low life swiped No 15 from the Regimental Museum.
