request for a quick reply: 2 helmets WWII
Attached are pictures of two donations to a local archive. They had been in his shed for all these years.
They were presented by a man who had picked them up as a boy. The German helmet came from a German compound where he played as a boy. The origin of the British helmet is unknown.
May I ask for an identification and if possible a value for insurance purposes.
Both helmets will be retained and used for educational purposes.
I have access to the helmets for another hour or so.
