Luke is correct.
The quality of fake badges from all eras and of all types in increasing and the older the fake is the more likely it is to slip through the net.
The secret is to find the dealers that make mistakes, like I do, like many of us do, and separate them from the dealers who knowingly sell fakes as real.
The seller at the start of this post falls into the first category.
