I would date that photo to very late WW1, or just post war. Note only one has a ribbon bar, which I am thinking is the MC, the war ribbons (pip, squeak and Wilfred) not being worn yet. The style of plus fours and service dress cap variation, along with the general appearance(different shades of shirt) is still more of that period, and the very small OSD cap badge, smaller yet than the familiar later OSD size, is also indicative of that period to my knowledge. They are very rare to fine nowadays.
