Army Medical Corps titles
I have often wondered just when the Medical Corps changed its different patterns of titles, maybe someone can help.
1. when was the MSC title first introduced? The Medical Staff Corps replaced the former 'Army Medical Department' but when?
2. did the large AMC title in the scan then replace MSC in Britain,and if so, when? It replaced MSC in NSW from 1898.
3. when was the smaller AMC title worn? Is it British?
4. when was the common RAMC first used?
