great thread...question is the Charlton book states the OR's badges are Browning Copper and the Officers is Gilted Brass...then there are badges in this thread with white metal centers and ribbons...are they WWII..?
I have a gilt brass badge that I have had for many many years, aquired from a very reputable dealer as a WWI Officers badge and have some people saying it is an NCO's...?...anyone ever heard of that..?
here is a pic of front and rear...has the Gaunt label..can anyone confirm for me if this IS an Officers, or.....
