William IV 1830-1837 is a great I.D. for period... thanks as I don't have a badge that old and wouldn't have thought in that direction... still wondering about what it represents or it's use... I was also wondering about the finish.. is that blackening just tarnish from 170 years of not being cleaned... my wife says I should polish it... but i don't think so... where does your vote go... yay or nay.... thanks Jim A
