Footnote to above. The change over in fabric took place while many titles were being produced. After May-June of 1944, all Canadian printed badges were made on No 2 Satin. For units in 1 CID, 2 CID and 3 CID plus a few senior formation patches there are two weights of material, if the contract had been run. (So, for the R Wpg Rif the med green is No 2 Cotton, and the black one is No 2 Satin.)
