further to you excellent work, on the 5th, attached are the gilt fired Cap and Collars I have come across.
Has anyone come across others...
Oldham mentions a "Gilt" 6/54 Collar... I have heavily gilded types, but not semi-solid like the Cap badge pictured (6/48).
Has anyone seen a 6/50 type Cap Badge in Gilt Fired brass. The matching Gilt fired collars are depicted (6/57).
None are maker marked.
