Oh very common. My mother was WRAC Signals and collected cards of Women in uniform. She had 1000's and a good percentage from WWl. A hell of a lot of them just girlfriends / wives in their mens uniforms and it wasn't just this country there was a lot of German girls wearing the stuff too!
