It might be worth calling the cemeteries office there and asking them for a grave number. They’d also probably be able to tell you if there is a memorial on the grave. Do you have any evidence that he was interred at Bushey?
Might he have been jewish?

[Edit:- married Minnie M. Redgrave, at Braintree, Essex, in the June quarter of 1914. Minnie appeares to have passed away in the December quarter of 1967. There might be a chance husband and wife were interred in the same grave, even though Minnie’s death was registered at Croydon. Her name might be an avenue worthy of exploration should there be no positive result for Major Atthill]. |
