As mentioned, they are both original in spite of their faults. Repaired sliders or lugs are common on old badges and in my opinion should not be too disparaged if they old repairs. The PoWV probably had a poorly attached Coronet that came off during the wear and tear of service. Both these badges are common and can be obtained for a very small out lay if you wish to replace them.
