As I read the item, the implication is that a current spate of the anodised badges for sale are likely to be fakes.
The comment about these badges probably being produced from the Birmingham Mint collectors series of badges dies - is that likely, given that the Birmingham Mint badges are "metal" not anodised aluminium?
(I'm not promoting the idea that the anodised aluminium badges are one thing or the other, genuine or fake, I don't know).
