Hi Grumpy, ex Heavy Rescue leader myself! That outfit of Simulated injury personnel. were to my recollection called "Casualty Union" My God! Did they ever do a nice job of a shard of glass pierced through an arm, Protruding bones etc etc.!....Remember your "personal line" hanging on your belt? and that wonderful self release knot you tied to let yourself down from a second storey window and be b****y careful you came down on the correct rope?
