Looks like email is held up on the server from the downtime on the 29th until now. I've not been able to get this moving, even with the highly technical 'switch it off and back on again' approach (server restart)
I'll have to 'phone a friend' on this one. Hopefully this will be fixed in 24h. If not I'll report back here.
